It is responsible for accounting services & control, monitoring of expenditure and adherence to budgets. It initiates periodic asset re-valuation. It is also responsible for credit Collection.

Systems and Operations

CASH AND OPERATIONS
The finance directorate operates a number of bank accounts. There  is a deliberate segregation of the accounts used for receiving funds from the customers and those for paying out.

ACCOUNTING
The management of accounts has been computerized and is now housed in what is referred to as Oracle Financials.This system provides an on line capture and processing of financial information.

The Finance Directorate is committed to full and fair Information disclosure to its' Board of Directors. In this regard we provide both quarterly Semi Annual and Annual Financial statements for board's  scrutiny. The budget is also present thereto for approval, ordinarily, before the commencement of each financial year.
